TIME ALLOWED: THREE HOURS | MAXIMUM MARKS 100
 INSTRUCTIONS:
 (1) Candidate must write Q. No. in the Answer Book in accordance with Q. No. in the Q. Paper
(ii) No Page Space be left blank between the answers. All the blank pages of Answer Book must be crossed
(iii) Extra attempt of any question or any part of the attempted question will not be considered.
(iv) Leave some blank space and draw two horizontal lines ( ) at the end of each answer.

 PART-A (ENGLISH ESSAY) 40 MARKS

 Note: Write a comprehensive Essay (1000 words) on any ONE of the given topics. Credit will be given for candidate's articulation, expression, technical approach, relevance and clarity.

 3) Technology's Role in the Modern World
 4) Pakistan's Economic Woes - The Way Forward

 PART-B (CURRENT AFFAIRS) 30 MARKS

 Q. No. 2. Discuss the role of Pakistan in Afghan-Peace Process and highlight the the importance of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity (APAPPS).(15)
 Q. No. 3. What are the reasons of the Indian decision to revoke Article 370 and 35-A. And how it  would change the face of Kashmir and Pakistan-India relations?(15)

 PART-C (ISLAMIC STUDIES/PAKISTAN AFFAIRS) 30 MARKS 

Attempt only two questions in all, selecting at least one question from each section.
 SECTION - 1
 Q. No. 4.  Discuss the current political scenario and the future of democracy in Pakistan.
 Q. No. 5. Economic and social problems faced by the country cannot be dealt with effectively unless population growth is brought under control. Comment
SECTION - 11
 Q. No. 6. Explain the rights and status that Islam endows on women.
 Q. No. 7. Describe the human rights in the light of the last sermon of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) with special emphasis on the rights of Non-Muslims in an Islamic State.
