¤ Ingredients ¤
Oil 1 tbsp
Butter 70 gm
Onion, finely chopped 1
Sela Rice 280 gm
Chicken Cube 1
Walnut 115 gm
Cream ½ cup
Oregano ½ tsp
Black pepper ¼ tsp
Green Chillies 4 diced
Salt to taste
Water 3 cups
¤ Method ¤
Heat the oil with 2 tablespoon of the butter in a deep pan over a medium heat until the butter has melted. Add the onion and cook for 5-7 minutes or until soft and staring to turn golden. Do not brown.
Reduce the heat, add the rice and mix to coat in oil and butter. Cook, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes, or until the grains are translucent.
Gradually add water and chicken cube and cook until rice absorbed water. Add oregano, salt, pepper, green chilli.
Melt 2 tablespoon of the remaining butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the walnut and toss for 2-3 minutes, or until just starting brown.
Add cream and mix the toss in rice.
